List seven: On 30

Another year older, and this year, it's a big one: I turn 30 today. Thirty. It sounds old. But I'm trying to embrace this next decade of my life. And so, here are 30 things I want to do in the next year, before I turn 31. Some are things I've done before; some are new. They are written in no particular order.

1. make a sourdough starter

2. make cheese

3. go to Montreal done

4. make sushi

5. run a 5k

6. knit socks

7. bake granola

8. go on new hike

9. go to New York City done

10. land a full time job done

11. go camping

12. ride my (new) bike done

13. write more blog entries done

14. go skiing done

15. take a yoga class

16. bake this no-knead bread

17. organize my photos

18. go for early morning kayak or canoe paddling

19. knit another hat done

20. travel to Australia

21. travel to a new country

22. read new books done

23. learn some French

24. make sponge cake

25. make blondies for my family done

26. see Food, Inc. done

27. plant potted herbs - basil, parsley, and mint would be nice

28. make Steve a sting ray stuffie done

29. finish knitting the black arm warmers I began done

30. spend lots of time with family and friends done

Coffee Break French is...

a. found on iTunes.
b. easy, fun, and presented in short segments.
c. taught by two Scots.
d. free.
e. all of the above.

Try the sourdough starter in MORO. It is fab. A long wait, but so worth it and mine is still thriving after three months! IT is easy to take care of and doesn't need a lot of potty training :)

Gail - Glad you like the list! I thought since I love writing them so much, I ought to compile things I'd like to get done. I hope to print it and check things off as the year goes on.

Trish - Thanks for the sourdough starter recommendation. I'll have to check it out. I've been meaning to make a starter for ages, and I'm hoping to this summer.
